Coventry Crusaders basketball team had their Saturday game called off – because of a leaking roof!

Water was dripping on to the court at the Coventry Sports Centre and would have proved dangerous for players so the fixture with London Towers was postponed.

Coach Dip Donaldson said:

"We were just coming up to tip-off when we noticed the water coming through.

"It would have been dangerous for the players so there was no real choice. The fans could queue up and get their money back or keep their programme which will give them free entry for our next game.

"Someone is going to look at the roof before we play North West London in a cup game on Saturday."
