Marlon
Devonish completed the medal haul for Warwickshire competitors at the Commonwealth Games
when he took gold in the 4x100m relay.
The Coventry Godiva sprinter, a former European 200m champion, helped the team to a
finishing time of 38.20seconds a Games record.
Jo Wise was the other golden athlete the injury-played long jumper took gold
earlier in the week.
City of Coventry teenage swimmer Adam Whitehead took bronze in the 200m breast stroke,
while Finham badminton player Mark Constable took a bronze in the team event.
Warwickshire badminton player Julia Mann, originally from Solihull but now living on
the South Coast, won a bronze in the individual and team events.
