Wise has had to pull out of the squad for the European Championships.
The long jumper has injured her knee and the 27-year-old’s hopes are now resting
on the Commonwealth Games.
Wise, who had chalked up the longest jump by a British woman this year, follows shot
putter Judy Oakes who has pulled out of the squad with a hand problem.
