NEWS
There are no new additions to the injury
list to interfere with Roland Nilsson's selection for the match
with Crewe.
Long-termers Keith
O'Neill, Julian
Joachim and John
Eustace are all still out.
Nilsson himself is also still not fully
fit and won't be in team to face the Railwaymen. Paul
Williams is also still on the casualty list.
The main dilemma for Nilsson will be who
to partner with Lee
Hughes in the strike force. Jairo
Martinez and Jay
Bothroyd are both in contention but Bothroyd is likely to
win by a short head.

INTERESTING FACTS
Coventry and Crewe have never
played together in the same division for more than one season.
If that record is to be maintained one of the clubs will need to
be promoted or relegated this season.
Neither side has ever won on
their opponent’s ground; City’s last defeat at the hands of
the Railwaymen was 76 years ago.
When the clubs met in the FA Cup
in 1965-66 City needed a very late goal from Ronnie
Rees to earn a 1-1 draw at Gresty Road before romping home
4-1 in the replay.
Coventry’s goalkeeper against
Crewe in October 1958 was 43-year old Alf
Wood, the third oldest league player since the war and
Coventry’s oldest player ever.
