ROLAND
NILSSON : RICHARDSON PRAISE
Bryan Richardson has praised
caretaker manager Roland Nilsson and the rest of his staff.
The Coventry chairman told the
club's website:
"You will never quite know
the difference that Roland has made, but the players seem to be
enjoying matches and are working extremely hard for each
other."
The Sky Blues have enjoyed a
unbeaten run of five wins and a draw since Nilsson took over.
Richardson and Nilsson will meet
before next Tuesday's game against Chelsea to discuss the Swede
taking on the manager's role permanently.
ANDY
GORAM : HEADING NORTH
Andy Goram's future at
the Sky Blues seems very unclear.
The veteran keeper is
currently on a one month contract with Coventry but he has expressed
a desire to make it a more permanent arrangement.
With the departure of
Chris Kirkland such a move would seem to be wise to provide
experienced cover for Swedish international Magnus Hedman.
A good performance
against Gillingham last Saturday would seem to strengthen his case.
The Scottish newspaper,
the Daily Record, has reported that Goram could
be on his way to St Johnstone. The Scottish club are, according to
the paper, prepared to offer an 18 month contract, to replace the
injured Alex Main.
