Coventry
City look set to take a full contingent of travelling fans to the showdown with double
winners Arsenal.
City have sold all but 100 of their 1,800 allocation for the game a week on Saturday
and those are expected to go in the next couple of days.
And the victory over Charlton last Saturday could swell the gate for the home match
with Blackburn this coming Saturday. Rovers are expected to bring less than 1,000
supporters to the game but City officials are confident of a good response following last
weekends dramatic victory.
City approach
the game in good heart and Norwegian Trond Soltvedt said the squad are sure they can
achieve another win.
He said:
"It is another big game for us. We came back very well against Charlton and that
showed the spirit we have in the squad.
"Noel Whelan pushed up and scored a very good goal and we certainly seemed to do
better with 10 men on the field.
"If I am on the bench I just go on to do my best. The manager told me to make sure
that Noel pushed up and the ball fell nicely to me. Of course I would like to be playing
in the team but we are one squad trying to achieve success."
