County Education Officer Eric Wood is treating around 20 teachers
to lunch on Monday 5 October, to thank them for running a series of very successful
Literacy Schools during the summer holidays.
The guests are from nine Warwickshire schools (list follows) which took part in the
scheme to help children improve their reading and writing.
After lunch, the teachers will have a meeting with Education Department staff to
evaluate the scheme.
Eric Wood, County Education Officer, said:
"The lunch is my way of celebrating the success of the Summer School project, and
saying a big thank-you to those involved."
