1999 will be
"The Year Of The Royal Pump Rooms" with a whole host of exciting events planned
throughout the year to mark the return of the Royal Pump Rooms to the people. So keep an
eye out for some important announcements early in the New Year.
In the meantime with the wraps already starting to come off the building, peoples
attention is starting to focus on the emerging results of Warwick District Councils
£6.7m investment. So why not come along yourself and see how that work is progressing and
what the Pump Rooms will look like when they open to the public next year?
A number of special guided tours of the Royal Pump Rooms will take place every half
hour starting at 10.30am on Saturday 12 December. Visit the marquee on the Royal Pump Room
Gardens to see the detailed plans of the Pump Rooms and a scale model of the finished
building. Then sign up for one of the special guided tours of the Pump Room site which
will last about 45 minutes. Numbers within each tour will be restricted to 15 people on a
first come first served basis. Strong comfortable footwear is recommended. Due to the
nature of the site at present we regret we are unable to offer these tours to the
disabled.
Be entertained during the day by Mad Monks Production of Cinderella, Le Cod
DAfrique + The GRIND Creative Collection and the Cubbington Silver Band all
of whom will be performing at the Pump Room Bandstand.
