JAN 00] STRATFORD ON AVON DISTRICT COUNCIL PRESS RELEASE
Stratford Homes Public InquiryA public
inquiry starts next Tuesday 1 February, following an appeal by Vincent Avenue Property
Developments against refusal of amendments to plans for a housing development in
Stratford-upon-Avon.
The appeal relates to modifications to plans for a
new development of flats and houses already granted planning permission on land between
numbers 20 and 21, and 21 to 24 Vincent Avenue, Stratford-upon-Avon.
Stratford District Council has refused the modifications on
grounds of over intensity of development and increased parking which will affect residents
near the site.
The inquiry, expected to last for one day, will be held at
the council offices, Elizabeth House, in Church Street, Stratford-upon-Avon, starting at
10am. A government planning inspector will preside over the inquiry.
Members of the public may attend the inquiry and express
their views - at the discretion of the inspector.
