Work
on the new Rugby Art Gallery, Museum and Library is going very well and it is on course to
open fully to the public in the year 2000. This is a very exciting project and everyone
involved is eagerly awaiting its completion.
The Council is inviting people who live in the Borough to suggest a name for the new
building. This should be fairly short and could perhaps have some local significance.
Please be creative in your thinking to come up with a name that is imaginative, exciting,
distinctive and reflects the use of this unique building.
Suggestions, in writing please, should be sent to the Councils Chief Executive,
Diane Colley, at the Town Hall Rugby. The closing date for ideas is Friday 28 May 1999.
The final decision on the name of building will be made this summer.
Thinking caps on please!
