The Committee on Standards and Privileges criticised the
former Jaguar chief for failing to register the fact that Stenbell Ltd - a company he
owned shares in - acquired a rights issue of 9,805,550 shares in another company,
TransTec, from him.
Stenbell then sold the issue to the Orion Trust, of which Mr Robinson was a
discretionary beneficiary.
A complaint was made on the matter by former North Warwickshire MP Francis Maude, now
the Shadow Chancellor.
Mr Robinson told the House of Commons:
"The oversight for concerning registration, for which I apologise is entirely my
responsibility."
Tony Blair reportedly now considers the matter closed but opposition MPs are again
calling for Mr Robinson, who used to be a director of Coventry City FC, to resign.
