The school was inspected
during the week 21 September, the previous inspection was in January 1995. This
years inspection was one of the first of the new style inspections.
The Ofsted report recognised that the quality of teaching was a strength of the school,
95% of lessons observed were judged to be satisfactory and of this 61% were either
excellent, very good, or good.
The school teaches pupils positive attitudes, good behaviour and provides good
opportunities for their personal development.
The school provides good leadership and management.
The school has improved in all areas of concern raised at the last inspection and is
now better than it was. The school provides good value for money with good leadership and
management.
Mrs Cowley, Chair of Governors, said,
"We are very pleased that the inspectors recognised the hard work and commitment
of the staff, governors and children at the school. We will continue to create a
stimulating and caring environment for all the children at Allesley hall Primary
School."
