A series of meetings are being
held by the Coventry Disabled Persons Network to enable disabled people to voice
their views on issues in their area.
The meetings, which will be informal, are taking in venues across Coventry throughout
the end of September and October.
They will take form of an open forum to allow people to ask questions and discuss
issues that are important to them. All disabled people and their supporters are welcome to
attend.
The dates, times and venues of the meetings are as follows:
Tuesday 29 September, 6.30 8pm St Peters Social Centre, Charles Street.
Wednesday 30 September, 7pm 9pm Allesley Village Hall, 118 Birmingham Road.
Thursday 1 October, 3pm 5pm St Chads Church Hall, 20 Hillmorton Road, Wood End.
Tuesday 6 October, 11am 1pm Hobrooks Information Centre, The Park, Holbrooks
Lane, Holbrooks, 2.30pm 4pm Fitness First, Canon Park, De Montfort Way and 6pm
8pm Wyken Parish Hall, Wyken Croft.
Wednesday 7 October, 3pm 5pm Wilfred Spencer Centre, Whitaker Road.
Thursday 8 October, 2.30pm 4pm Foleshill Community Centre, 757 Foleshill Road.
Friday 9 October, 2pm 4pm Cheylesmore Community Centre, Arundel Road

All venues are fully accessible apart from St Lawrences Church Hall and Wyken
Parish Hall which do not have wheelchair accessible toilets.
The Coventry Disabled Persons Network is a group of disabled people working to
enable disabled people to have a say in decisions taken by Coventry City Council and
Coventry Health Authority about services they offer.
