Coventry City Council today announced those councillors who will lead committees, panels and policy teams for 1999/2000.

Each of the City’s six policy co-ordinating committees will continue to be led by co-ordinators and deputy co-ordinators, and 22 policy teams and panels will each be led by chairs.

Councillor John Fletcher, Leader of the City Council said:

"Those councillors named to co-ordinate and chair the committees, panels and policy teams have a vital role to achieve better local services in the City. This structure is designed to tackle key issues but more importantly it will be up to each committee, panel and policy team to ensure improved services are shaped by local people."
