Guestbook - April 2007
The Guestbook is not just about finding old friends, you might also
want to post questions about the local area or make comment on a visit
to Coventry and Warwickshire. If you would like to post a message to the
guestbook please send them to : editor@cwn.org.uk
NOTE : For any enquiries where someone
is trying to find someone else we feel it better if you do know the people being sought to ask them first before passing on any information about them - remember they may not want to be found!

BAGINTON PRIMARY SCHOOL |
|
I attended Baginton Primary School from 1956 to1961. It was known then as the Lucy Price
School as she was a wealthy benefactor. Every year we could all apply
for a pair of shoes from her legacy.
The school was in two halves - the new part for older children and the old
part was for the youngest.
The teachers in my time were Miss Wilkins (head and very keen
archaeologist), Miss Price and Mrs Lloyd. Miss Price taught the youngest
children. One of my fondest memories is that she used to make fudge if
you did well you got some.
If anyone remembers me and my brother get in touch. |
