[24 OCT 04] MEMORIES OF LYNG HALL SCHOOL
  I attended Lyng Hall School from 1961 to 1966.

My house was Zeta. The house mistress was called Miss Mathews and we called her Martha but never to her face! She had a mop of grey curly hair and her eyes bulged when she was in a temper. The headmistress was Miss Hyms.

My name was Angela Thompson then and my sister Jackie, who is four years older than me, also attended the school.

It would be great to hear from anyone who remembers me.

[03 OCT 04] LOOKING FOR BETTY PHILLIPS
  I am trying to find some information on my late nan - Betty Phillips.

I know she worked at Armstrong Whitworth Aircraft in 1944 but unfortunately I don't have any more info than that.

It is a bit of a long shot but I would be interested in hearing from anyone that might recognise the name.
