[21 APR 02] PARKGATE
PRIMARY SCHOOL 50TH PARTY
This year
Parkgate
Primary School will be celebrating it's 50th birthday. As it is
also the Queen's Jubilee Year we are hoping to incorporate our summer
fundraising event too and have a whole day of celebration. The
proposed date is Friday 5 July.
We would like to invite any former pupils or staff to visit us
during the day. So if you know of anyone who has moved away who might
be interested please let them know the date. When we have our
programme of events organised we will post them here, so watch this
space.
We are hoping to have an exhibition of photographs depicting the
life of the school over the last 50 years, so we would be grateful for
any photographs we could borrow.
We will post more information nearer the time telling you when we
want them in school. This is just to alert you to the need to go
hunting in the attic.
We need lots of help with organisation, prior to and on the day.
There will be things that can be done at home as well as things that
require time spending time in school so please don't feel you can't be
involved because you can't get into school.
If you would like to be involved or would like further information
don't hesitate to contact us. Please contact the school on 024 7663
7381 and ask for Ruth Wisdom (Deputy Head).
