is Barbara Clarke (née Hood) and she lived in Knightsbridge Avenue
until she married my Dad (Jack Clarke - from Alexander Road). She
worked at Smiths Department Store.
If anyone remembers her, please email me.

[25 FEB 02] LOOKING FOR PHOTOS
My name is Pamela Robb (née Brown) and I was born July 1943 in
Coventry, to Thomas and Phyllis Brown of Barras Green, later Tile
Hill.
I don't remember a lot of my days in Coventry. As far as I know I
am told I attended Stoke
Council? and Templars
schools.
My Dad was the Bandmaster of the Stoke Salvation Army Band in
Coventry. I was the eldest of 4 children. I had a sister Christina,
and brothers Alan and Christopher Paul (known as Paul). My
Grandparents were Charles and Elizabeth Hanson, and William and
Clara Brown.
In WW2 my Dad played the Flugal Horn in the 2nd Batallion of The
Royal Warwickshire Regimental band. He went to Madras, India and
Vienna amongst other places.
I am very keen to hear from anyone that may have photos of this
Band or of the Stoke Salvation army band that my father conducted,
and that he may have been in.
Also I would love to hear from anyone that may remember me and
may have school photos that I may have been in - I would be more
than willing to pay for any copies.
We emigrated to New Zealand in 1955 and have lived here since.
I love to visit the Coventry pages and hope at some time to visit
there and catch up with a lot of aunts, uncles and cousins.
Best wishes to all

[11 FEB 02] BATHROOM / KITCHEN FITTERS
I need a bathroom and/or kitchen fitter for ongoing work and
would be grateful of a recommendation.
The work is basic : bathroom = fit + tile, and kitchen the same.
All preparation is pre-done.
I simply require someone who is reliable and honest for which I
can offer a cash bonus on completion providing price is fair and
quality respectable.
Thank you.
