[25 AUG 99] LETITTIA SUSAN WILLIAMS
I am trying to locate a
Letittia Susan Williams, who in 1962/3 lived in Warwick and was approx 18 years old. I am also seeking info on the Air Base which was located in Warwick at that time.
I believe Letittia's father, also of the name of Williams, worked at the airbase as a
civilian engineer. He was a widower at that time and also had a son of approx 5 years of age.
Any information is eagerly awaited on any or all of the
following:
- Lettitia Susan Williams (now approx 54
years of age)
any of her family especially her father (now around 80 years of age) or brother
(now approx 42 years of age)
the Warwick Airbase

[23 AUG 99] LOOKING FOR OLD SCHOOL FRIENDS
I went to Earlsdon primary school in Coventry (1957-60), then Broadway primary school
(1960-64) before going on to Binley Park Comprehensive (1964-70)
I would like to hear from any old school friends who may have known me. I, like many

had the privilage of attending, giving me a special time in my life.

[23 AUG 99] OUR LADY OF THE ASSUMPTION
Hi! My name is Michelle Lewis [née Chorney] and attended Our Lady of the Assumption
between 1970 and 1976. I would like to hear from anyone who remembers me - I can remember
these names:
- Julie Flint
- Kevin O'Sullivan
- Pat and Julie Phayer (twins)
- Kenny Conway
- Kathryn Hartley
- Mark Kavanagh
- Dorothy Myers
- Wladislaw Bajek
- Angela Murtagh
- John McKenna
- Anne Vertigan
- Michael MacKenzie
- Teresa Fox
- Annette Whitehead
- Anne-Marie O'Brien
- Louise O'Boyle
- Sheila Hill
- Sandra Quinlan
I have managed to keep in touch with a few of these people but would like to hear from
anyone else who either remembers me or would like to know what the school is like now, as
my three children now attend.
Does anyone remember Miss Shanley, the Headmistress - she still attends mass every day!
Mrs O'Brien is still at the school and Mrs Sephton retired last year (after having taught
my daughter!). Mr Campbell became head of a primary school in Coventry (All Souls, I think
but am not sure), Miss Macnamara is currently head of St John Vianney. These are names you
will recognise if you are an ex-pupil.

[22 AUG 99] LOOKING FOR AN OLD
SCHOOL FRIEND
Hi, I used to attend Cheylesmore Secondary Modern between 1963-1965, after which I went
to Whitley Abbey from 1965-1968.
While attending Cheylesmore I met a friend, Jeanette Greenwood and have lost touch with
her. For years I have been trying to establish her whereabouts.
Jeanette used to live on Ivybridge Road, Styvechale and then moved to South Africa with
her family. I am not quite sure of the date, somewhere between 1965 and 1967.
I would appreciate getting in touch with her again after such a long break.

[14 AUG 99] LOOKING FOR OLD SCHOOL FRIENDS
I went to Keresley Newlands High
School 1962-67.
I used to frequent the metalwork room most of the
time. Well known and recognised throughout the school as I was the only mixed race
Afro-Carabbean pupil in attendance during the early 1960s. Living in Birmingham (UK)
for the past twenty-two years, only about fifteen miles away from the original school
location.

[13 AUG 99] HEAD BOY AT BINLEY PARK
& TEACHER AT FOXFORD
I went to Manor Park primary school in Coventry (1952-58), then on to Cheylesmore
Secondary Modern (1958-60) and Binley Park secondary school (1960-65).
I would be pleased to hear from school friends from those times. The ethos of Binley
Park is still with me and is a bench mark for my thinking about education -'Good old
Bill!' I was Head Boy at Binley 1964-5.
I taught science (biology) at Foxford 1969-97 and I would be pleased to hear how any of
my former pupils got on in the world and what you are up to now.
I still live in Warwickshire.

I'm particularly looking for friends from Warwick School,

[05 AUG 99] ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE
Hi, I have just found your Website and thought you would like some feedback.
As an expat who emigrated from Cov to Australia 30 years ago I found it a really
enjoyable experience to view the City Centre in real time.
Just a couple of points. Your site is really informative. Could alternate locations for
Webcams be used from time to time? I have found the Cov Telegraph site to be disappointing
in that it doesn't seem to be regularly updated with daily information. Either they should
be serious about their site as an alternative media source or leave the Web alone.
Websurfers are not known for their tact or reticence in airing their views. Maybe they
would prefer you to buy their newspaper! Anyway, keep up the good work CWN {;-)
Cheers,

[01 AUG 99] LOOKING FOR OLD SCHOOL FRIENDS
I went to Glendale Primary School in Nuneaton (1982-85) and then Croft Middle School
(1985-86). I moved to Australia in 1986 with my family.
I'm looking for anyone who was in Mrs Sargent's Year 3 and Year 4 classes in 1984 and
1985 or anyone that went to Croft in 1985/86. Sorry I can't remember the teachers names.
Some people I used to be friends with are Ross Griffths and Chad Johnson and I went out
with Louise Pittam for a long time! I still keep in contact with her. I know its a long
shot but if anyone knows any of these people or you are one of these people then I would
love to here from you.

[01 AUG 99] ANYONE NEED A DENTIST?
Hi, my name is Dr A S Rizi. I am a dental surgeon interested in opening a dental
surgery from scratch. I would appreciate if you could answer the following question.
Is there any city/town in your area with a shortage of a NHS dental surgery, or a town
with no NHS surgery?
Do you know any place in your district which has a shortage of NHS dentists?
