- May 1999 [27 MAY 99] WHITLEY ABBEY HOTEL
I am trying to locate Patricia (maiden name Chambers) who
is the daughter of the manager of the Whitley Abbey Hotel.
I worked with Pat at the Hotel Leofric in 1969. I am hoping
to celebrate a thirty year re-union of some sort with her. Is there anyone who would have
information or would give her information to contact me:

[24 MAY 99] LIVE RADIO ON THE NET
Hello, I am an ex Coventarian who moved to Canada many
years ago. I am very very happy to have found CWN on the Internet. I keep Coventry very
close to heart and my love for the city is undescribable.
Anyway the reason I'm emailing is to ask a couple of
questions:
- Is there LIVE Radio on the internet from Coventry?
- If not will there be?
You people are doing a tremendous job on maintaining this
website, how about you guys putting the radio on the net yourselves?
Best regards,
The guy who left his heart in Coventry.

[EDITOR: CWN currently carries the daily news from MerciaFM in RealAudio. We have
also in the past done live broadcasts with Kix96. The official Coventry City FC website should be providing live match
commentaries in the coming season through Planet.]
[19 MAY 99] BIG IN TEXAS
Hi, I am looking for information on a band that used to be
or still are called Big In Texas. They were playing late 80s early 90s. Stella Jones was
the lead singer.
I moved to Canada early 90s, they were in the studio then.
I was in Coventry for 7 years before that. And this was just one of the bands that I
worked with in promoting. Along with Honey Moon Hunt, The Pilgrims, The Trial who are now
Dead After Dark and a bunch of others.
Anyway just wanted to know if they were still going.
Thanks

[04 MAY 99] TWIGGER FAMILY
I have been researching the family
history of the Twiggers for some time now, and just found your site while surfing on the
web.
My branch of the Twigger family is from Leicester, but I
believe that the family came from the Coventry area originally. I would be interested to
hear from anyone who has any information on the Twigger family in the Coventry area, or
any information on the family and its name.
Many thanks
