[15 MAR 99] KENSITAS SILK FLOWER CIGARETTE CARDS
I am trying to trace any information relating to Kensitas
Silk Flower cigarette cards. The cigarette cards were in fact woven silk designs and were
issued in 1934/1935. I am attempting to write a history of the cards but there is not much
information available.
I am particularly interested in the artist or artists who
made the original designs. I am led to believe that the silks were woven on Jacquard looms
in the Coventry area.
Do you know of any silk weavers that still exist in the
Coventry area?
I would be extremely grateful for any information.

[14 MAR 99] LOOKING FOR KATHY McCLINTOCK
Hello - I am writing from New York State. I was wondering
if you could help me, or tell me who I could e-mail for assistance, in finding a person I
used to know who lives (or lived) in Coventry. I have exhausted all other means of search.
Her name is Kathy (Kathleen) McClintock. She may have a
married name by now. I would like to contact her. The family is from Coventry: Joseph,
Pauline, Harry or Martin. Perhaps they are findable, if Kathy is not.

[01 MAR 99] FAMILY HISTORY: GREEN
Planning on coming to Coventry this year to locate our
family history - last name Green. Both paternal grandparents and father have passed away.
Very little info.
Paternal grandfather name: Richard Lissamen Green who
married Elizabeth Rabin. 2 children. My father was Thomas Charles Green and his sister,
Lillian Elizabeth. My father was born 13 October 1913. I'm guessing his father would have
been born in late 1880's??
Any help of where or who I could contact would be
appreciated. My father was not born in Coventry but in Canada.
