Sunday Times Third National Newspaper To Rank Warwick Among UK's Top Ten UniversitiesYet another national newspaper has ranked Warwick among the top ten
UK universities.
This is the third national newspaper to do so in the last
six months (the others being The Times and the Financial Times). Yesterday's Sunday Times
ranked Warwick 7th overall, and also ranked it 6th in the UK for research. The Sunday
Times Article also noted that:
"Warwick is now firmly established as one of our
foremost universities" and that it "has grown to challenge Britain's oldest and
finest seats of learning"
Warwick was also the highest ranked Midlands university in
the Sunday Times table. The newspaper also praised the University's Arts Centre (the
biggest Arts Complex of its kind outside of London) noting that:
"The students have an arts centre to die for, with two
theatres, a cinema, an art gallery and a music centre."
The newspaper rated as excellent Warwick's Departments of
Theatre Studies, Warwick Business School, Film Studies, Computer Science, English, German,
History, Law, Sociology, and its Teacher Training course specialising in Drama.
