HILLFIELDS
PLANFEST - an opportunity to comment on the draft Hillfields Area Plan.
A public consultation event is being organised as part of the development of the
Hillfields Area Plan.
It will take place:
On Thursday 18th March 1999
From 3.00 p.m. - 7.00 p.m.
At St. Benedict's Primary School, Leigh Street, Hillfields.
All local residents and people interested in Hillfields are welcome to attend and give
us their views.
PlanFest is an exhibition about the draft Area Plan and an opportunity for local
residents to comment on the plans for Hillfields. People who have been involved in
preparing the Plan will be there to answer questions and record comments, including
members of local action groups and staff from the City Council, Chamber, Police and
Coventry Health Authority.
There will also be lots of other fun activities, including an art workshop for young
people, a clowning workshop for children, information stalls about local services and
healthy refreshments.
Cllr Harry Richards, St. Michael's Ward, stated:
"People from all walks of life in Hillfields have put a lot of effort into writing
the new Area Plan. This is the opportunity for the rest of us to have an input. We want as
many people as possible to come to this event and give us their comments."
