The Coventry Development Plan has now reached a further stage in its preparation. The Modifications to the Plan, following last year's Public Local Inquiry, are being placed on Deposit for formal representations from Friday 4 May to Thursday 14 June 2001.

This site contains the main part of the Modifications documentation:

• City Council Statement of Decisions and List of Modifications - April 2001 (which lists the City Council's response to each of the Inspector's recommendations)
   
• Appendix A: Statement of Reasons - April 2001 (which identifies where the City Council disagrees with the Inspector's recommendations)
   
• Appendix B: Text of Coventry Development Plan - April 2001 (the modified text of the Plan, showing additions and deletions since the 1998 Deposit Draft)

The full documentation on deposit can be inspected at the Council House and Tower Block, Coventry, and at all the City's libraries, it can also be obtained from the City Development Directorate. The additional material comprises:

• Appendix C: Modifications to the Proposals Map, the City Centre Inset Map and Text Maps - April 2001 (which show changes to the 1998 Deposit Draft maps)
   
• Appendix D: Report to the Cabinet on Proposed Consultation on Additional Shopping Sites (which is part of a separate consultation exercise on additional shopping sites)
