NAC Prepares For Royal Show
Up
to 200,000 people are expected to come to Warwickshire next month for
the annual Royal Show.
The
agricultural showcase will bring in visitors from all over the country
to the National Agricultural Centre in Stoneleigh.
The
celebration of the best things of the British countryside will take
place from 3 to 6 July.
This
year’s highlights include a country lifestyle area showing off
aspects of homes, gardens and outdoor life.
Designed
to inspire, it will range from covering leisure activities to indoor décor,
and will also feature a dream four-wheel drive vehicle.
Gardening
fans will be able to enjoy a flower show, which will have
representatives from leading nurseries. There will also be a
demonstration theatre, floral arrangements and feature gardens.
People
who prefer shopping will also be well-catered for as there will be 200
Rural Crafts Association stands.
Equestrian
fans will be able to enjoy horse and pony competitions, and
mouth-watering food will be on show in the British Food Pavilion.
Advance
price tickets are £9 for adults and £4.50 concessions – a discount
of up to 25 per cent. They can be bought from the Royal Show Hotline
on 0115 9129111 before Sunday. A £1 booking fee applies.
