Car buying over the Internet is becoming increasingly more popular, and a Coventry dealer aims to get in on the act.

Paynes Truck and Van Centre operates the Iveco Ford franchise in Exhall and Managing Director Nigel Payne became involved with the CW2000 Internet Project last year.

CW2000 has helped Paynes move their website up a gear. Customers are now able to book there vehicles in for services and repair online, hire vehicles and even buy vehicles.

Nigel said:

“We have already received over 100 enquiries through the Internet and hope more customers will begin to have the confidence to do the same. This is a safe, effective way to buy a vehicle and is particularly useful for customers who are not able to visit our premises. We are increasingly using the Internet to source our own business supplies”.

Nigel has also benefited from the technical expertise of the CW2000 team. He said:

“I am grateful for the unbiased advice they have supplied regarding the purchase of hardware. Also, having free access to the Internet 24 hours a day via high-speed ADSL is tremendous. We hope our customers will take advantage of our online services, which we aim to develop further over time”.
