A New Judge In Town
Coventry
law firm Newsome Vaughan should have justice on its side after
recruiting a Judge.
Ben
Judge, a qualified barrister and solicitor, has joined the
Greyfriars Lane firm to work in its civil litigation team.
It
is a return to home territory for Judge, who comes from the
city, after 10 years working for major firms in Birmingham.
He
said:
“I
am delighted to be back in Coventry and the move presents a
great opportunity. Newsome Vaughan is a well established and
respected firm which is looking to increase its civil
litigation business.
“Coventry
is a major city with large and blue chip companies and we feel
that there is a growth potential in the civil litigation
field.
“There
has traditionally been a tendency for companies to look
towards Birmingham and London when dealing with major cases
but Newsome Vaughan has the capability and expertise to handle
these clients. It is a part of the business which is growing
and my role will be to increase that volume.”
Newsome
Vaughan senior partner Rupert Griffiths said that Judge had been
handpicked by the firm to join its team.
“We
now have a team of six working on civil litigation and we see
it as a key strength of our business.
“We
were aware of Ben’s reputation and his appointment will add
greatly to our capabilities. He has an impressive track record
in dealing with major cases.”
Newsome
Vaughan was founded in 1936 and now employs around 70 staff.
