MIDDLEMARCH ENVIRONMENTAL PRESS RELEASE
Middlemarch Environmental Launch WebsiteA
blossoming ecological design and build company is using the Internet to boost its
business.
Middlemarch Environmental Ltd, which is based at Stoneleigh
Deer Park and employs 10 people, provides expertise in environmental project management,
ecological surveys and assessments, habitat creation and landscaping.
The company was only founded three years ago but already
boasts an impressive client list including Jaguar Cars, Peugeot, The National Exhibition
Centre, Rover, British Airways and Powergen.
Now it has teamed up with leading environmental Internet
specialist Ecosaurus to produce
the website, which it hopes will bring more business.
Middlemarch's Consultancy Director Dr Mark McLellan said:
"We are in a growing but highly-competitive industry
and have to win a lot of our work through competitive tender. The Internet is another tool
that could well lead to us winning more business.
"We carry details of past case histories but we will
also be updating the site regularly to keep people abreast of current projects."
Middlemarch Environmental was established by the Warwickshire Wildlife Trust with
profits covenanted and used by the Trust to fund its conservation work.
It moved to its new headquarters in February and has
carried out work in all areas of the UK as well as in Ireland.
Locally, the firm designed and built the Swift Valley
District Park in Rugby, and undertook environmental projects for Park School and Warwick
Junior School. They are also monitoring a newly created 270-acre countryside park for
British Airways at Heathrow.
Dr McLellan added:
"The relationship between the built and natural
environment is now high on both public and private agendas."
