Lodders Signed Up For £1m Penthouse Sale
A
Stratford firm of solicitors is to handle the sale of the first £1
million penthouse in Birmingham.
The
Stratford branch of Lodders has been appointed to handle the legal
aspects of the sale of 186 apartments being built at the former Lucas
factory in the Jewellery Quarter.
The
firm will also deal with the leases of the retail units, fitness
centre and restaurant, which will occupy the building’s ground
floor.
The
£50 million re-development is to bring loft-style living to
Birmingham.
The
factory has been empty for five years and has been renamed Newhampton
lofts.
The
apartments will range in price from £100,000 to £1 million and are
aimed at professional people attracted to city life.
Emma
Randle, associate solicitor at Lodders, said;
“This
is a very exciting development. It is probably the largest
regeneration project of its kind in the Midlands and is attracting a
great deal of interest. We are delighted to be involved in the
work.”
