ARK To Give Manufacturers Helping Hand
A
Coventry company is to launch a revolutionary consultancy package that
will find and carry out improvements to manufacturing processes.
As
well as analysing all aspects of a factory’s production process,
Forrest Davies McKenzie (FDM-UK) will also put the solution to any
problems in place as part of the cost.
The
firm, based in the Quadrant in Coventry city centre, will be launching
the new service – which will be cheaper than big name rivals – to
an invited audience at a breakfast at The Chamber next week.
Managing
director Robert Forrest said traditional consultancy work finds problems, but
does not implement anything to solve them.
He
said:
“Firms
often get a bill to find out that there’s a problem, when they knew
there was a problem, but needed to know how to solve it.
“We
will look at all aspects of the factory’s work, including what
happens before and after production, as it’s not always the production line
that needs changing.
“Unlike
other consultancies we will then put the necessary changes in place
as part of the cost of the package.”
The
breakfast in Coventry could be the start of a series of national
events to show off the ARK (Application, Results, Knowledge) system.
Mr
Forrest said:
“We’ve
invited some local people who we think will be interested to give them
the first chance to find out about it.”
