A
Coventry-based precision engineering company is set to secure a brighter future - assisted
by advice from Business Link Coventry & Warwickshire.
HS Kundi, which trades as 'A' One Turning,
manufactures special fasteners for the automotive sector.
The family firm, set up in 1982 by Harbinder Singh Kundi, was expanding so rapidly the
firm needed to find bigger premises to accommodate the growing work force and more
machinery.
Mr Kundi, proprietor, said:
"Our clients include first tier suppliers to the motor industry.
"Our quality, flexibility and ability to deliver small or large volume orders has
helped to establish our good reputation with existing customers and given us the
confidence to approach new customers."
HS Kundi first approached Business Link in 1997 who has worked with them through some
of the teething problems associated with growth.
In addition, assistance with business planning helped the firm to secure a Regional
Selective Assistance [RSA] grant towards the cost of the firm's move to Holbrooks.
"Advice from Business Link is helping us to achieve our growth potential,"
said Mr Kundi.
"As well as helping us with the grant application, advice on training and quality
is helping us develop the business and attract more customers.
"We are now looking forward to becoming first tier suppliers ourselves," he
added.
