Coventry Ring Road Rape

The incident happened around 5.30pm as the 23 year old Coventry woman was walking home from the city centre towards Radford. The victim was taking a short cut under the ring road between Upper Well Street and Radford Road.

The woman was grabbed by three men on the corner of Radford Road by the fire station. She was dragged down a slope to railed-off area which has skips in it. There two of the men held her down as the third man raped her. The attackers then ran off.

The three men are all white and aged about 20.

There would have been many people in the area at the time on their home from work and police are appealing for anyone with information or anyone who may have seen three men by the ring road near Radford fire station around 5.30pm to contact CID at Little Park Street station on 0845 113 5000.
