A young man was robbed at knifepoint in a Coventry
subway yesterday.
The 19 year old Coventry man was in a subway in London Road, near
to the junction with Gulson Road, Stoke at about 11.20pm on
Thursday.
He was approached by two men and one of them asked for the time.
As the victim looked at his watch, the offender grabbed his right
hand and forced it behind his back.
The same offender them pulled out a knife and held it to the
victim's throat.
The second offender then grabbed the man's left hand and took off
his wrist watch and also snatched the victim's mobile phone.
This same offender then punched the 19 year old in the face and
head.
The two attackers then made off in the direction of Gulson Road.
The offenders were both described as being black and in their
early 20s. The first one was about 6ft tall, of heavy build with
cropped black hair and wearing a purple jumper. The second offender
was about 6ft 2in tall, of medium build with cropped black hair. He
was wearing a purple jumper and blue jeans.
They stole a Samsung mobile phone worth about £100 and a Guess
wrist watch worth £60.
