Tile Hill Pensioner
Robbed
An 82-year-old Tile Hill woman was the
latest victim to be robbed by a conman in her own home.
The incident took place yesterday
afternoon at 3.15pm.
The offender knocked on her door
and claimed to be a council worker making enquiries regarding
cutting down trees. He asked the victim to get him a pen and while
her back was turned he helped himself to her purse which was in
her handbag in the living room.
The burglar took a black leather
clasp purse containing the pensioner's bus pass and £19 in cash.
The offender is described as white,
6ft tall, in his early 20s with a solid build, round face and
short dark hair. He was wearing a dark jumper and trousers.
