Man Attacked In
Stoke Aldermoor
A 48 year old man was beaten and
robbed in Stoke Aldermoor on Sunday.
The incident took place in Barley
Lea, Stoke Aldermoor, Coventry between 10pm and 11pm.
The victim, a man from the Coventry
area, was attacked from behind as he walked across grassland. He
was grabbed around his neck, pulled to the ground and then
repeatedly punched and kicked before being pinned down and
searched.
He was further assaulted, during
which he lost consciousness for a few minutes. When he came to the
offender or offenders had left and stolen his wristwatch and £3.70
in cash.
The man suffered bruising under his
eyes, bruises and scratches to his body and stomach pains
following the attack.
The victim was unable to give any
description of the attacker(s). Police are appealing for anyone
