Woman Robbed In Spon
End
A 21 year old Coventry woman was
robbed in broad daylight in a Spon End street yesterday morning.
This robbery took place at 10.05am
in Waveley Road at the junction with Minster Road, Spon End,
Coventry.
The victim was walking along
Waveley Road when two men in a vehicle drew up alongside her.
The passenger got out of the
vehicle and grabbed the woman with his arm around her chest and
throat. He then stole £5 cash from her and tried to drag her
towards the open back door of the car, which was a white Rover.
The woman kicked the man and
struggled free and the two men drove off.
The attackers were both black males
aged 20-25 with shaven heads. One wore black clothing, a long
sleeved jumper and a gold bracelet.
