Conman Robs Blind
Woman In Her Home
A
75 year old blind woman was robbed by a conman who tricked his way
into her home.
The incident
happened at 3.15pm yesterday in London Road, Coventry.
The offender tricked his way into
the pensioner's house and asked the victim for change for a £50
note. He took her purse out of her hand and stole £125 in cash.
He then had a drink of water and
was heard to speak to a female accomplice outside the house. They
then fled.
There is no description of the
offender and police are anxious to hear from anyone that might
have spotted a man and a woman acting suspiciously in London Road
at the time.
