Cashpoint Robbery

A 43 year old Coventry man was robbed as he used a cash point machine yesterday.

The incident happened at 10.30pm in Holbrook Lane at the junction with Parkgate Road in Coventry.

The victim was standing at the cash point when he was attacked from behind by two men who threw him to the ground and stole £220 cash and his cash card. The attackers then fled.

The man suffered grazing to his forehead and nose following the incident.

The offenders were two white males aged about 20, both about 5ft 7in.
