Robbery In City
Centre
Two
18 year olds were robbed in Coventry on Saturday evening.
The
incident took place at 11pm in Hales Street in the city centre.
The
two lads were walking from Corporation Street. As they approached
the footpath under the ring road at Hales Street they were
approached by two men.
One
of the attackers showed a knife and demanded money. The other
offender then took one of the lads to a cashpoint where he was
made to withdraw £100 cash. He also stole two gold rings and £40
cash from his wallet. The other offender held the other lad and
took £22 cash from him.
The
two offenders were both mixed race males aged 17-25. One was 5ft
10in with dark hair, wearing a black woolly hat, dark
sweatshirt and trousers. The other was 5ft 8in, wearing a grey
hooded jacket.
The
two lads who were robbed were not injured.
