Bus Stop Attack In
Coventry City Centre
A
24 year old Hillfields man was attacked last night as he waited
for a bus in Coventry city centre.
The
incident happened at about 9pm at a bus stop in Hales Street,
outside the Gala Bingo hall.
The
victim was waiting for a bus when he was approached from behind by
three men.
One
man punched him twice in the face, knocking him to the ground. The
attacker grabbed a Nokia mobile phone from the victim and the
three men then ran off.
The
victim suffered bruising and swelling to his face.
The
offenders were described as being black and in their teens.
The
first one who attacked the 24 year old, was described as being
aged 16 or 17, of medium build, 5ft 11in tall with a shaven head
and wearing dark clothing.
The
second attacker was aged 16 or 17, 5ft 8in tall, of medium build
and was wearing a black baseball cap with ear flaps and dark
clothing. The third one was aged 15 or 16, about 5ft 8in tall, of
medium build, with a shaven head. He was wearing dark clothing and
a pair of glasses.
