Coventry Girl
Attacked In City Wood
A
Coventry teenager was attacked and indecently assaulted by a youth
in a city wood.
Police
are appealing for information after the 17-year-old was set upon
on Sunday March 18th at about 7.15pm.
The
girl and her 14-year-old friend were walking along Tile Hill Lane,
Tile Hill when they were approached by a youth as they neared Pig
Wood.
The
man ran up from behind the girls and jumped on the older girl. He
knocked her to the floor, lay
on top of her and then indecently assaulted her.
The
girl shouted at the man and he slowly got off her. The two girls
then ran off towards Tanners Lane.
He
is described as a white male, aged between 16-20yrs, about 5ft
7ins, stocky build, with a local accent.
He
was wearing a waist length dark brown puffa jacket made of shell
suit type material with a short zip from the neck down, and a
zip-up pocket on the chest and elasticated around the bottom.
He
was also wearing a cream or yellow coloured baseball cap with dark
brown letters on the front.
