Teenager Slung Into Lamppost By Robbers

A Coventry teenager was thrown against a lamppost and punched by two attackers who stole a handful of small change from her.

The 19-year-old was walking down an entry between Boyd Close and Narberth Way in Walsgrave at 5.55pm yesterday when she was approached by two men.

One of them punched her in the face and grabbed her by the arm.

They demanded cash from her. When the victim said she didn’t have any money they threw her against a lamppost and took around £2 in small change from her.

She was left with bruising on her face and marks on her arm.

Both men are white, about 6ft and had black anorak-type jackets with hoods.
