Coventry Off Licence
Held Up By Knife Man
A man armed with
a knife threatened an assistant in a Coventry off-licence and
escaped with the till drawer.
The armed robbery
took place at Alexander Wines in Providence Street, Earlsdon at
9.30pm on Friday.
A white man, aged
about 30, 5ft 9ins and slim entered the shop and produced a knife.
He threatened the
cashier and went behind the till. He took the drawer, containing
more than £100 in cash and fled.
He wore
sunglasses, a blue cap, and a denim jacket.
The attack
happened two hours after a street attack at gun point, also in
Earlsdon. Witnesses should call 024 7653 9030.
