Coventry Man Stabbed
And Thrown From Car
Police
are appealing for witnesses after a man was stabbed and then
pushed out of a car in Coventry.
He
was dumped from a blue Ford Sierra near to a zebra crossing in
Swan Lane at the junction with Harnall Lane East, Hillfields, at
6pm on Tuesday.
The
30-year-old man, from Coventry, had a stab wound to his thigh. The
injury is not life-threatening.
Police
at Little Park Street are appealing to any witnesses or anyone
with any information to contact them on 024 7653 9010 or
Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
The
man was wearing a green puffa type jacket, blue tracksuit bottoms
and he was holding a beige-coloured blanket or piece of material.
He
then managed to walk home and his family raised the alarm. He was
limping because of the leg wound.
Police
say the incident followed a dispute between the victim and the
offenders.
