Knife Held To
Woman's Neck In Post Office Raid
A
customer in a Coventry post office was grabbed and had a knife
held to her neck by a man who stole cash yesterday.
Police
are appealing for witnesses to the incident, which happened at
about 2.20pm at the post office in Ordnance Road, Foleshill.
A
man went into the post office and grabbed the customer, who is a
48-year-old woman from the Foleshill area.
He
held a knife to her neck and demanded money.
The
man got away with a small quantity of cash and ran off leaving the
customer shocked and upset.
He
is white, slim and in his early 20s. He has a thin, spotty face
with a slight moustache. He was wearing a light blue hooded sports
jacket, dark jeans and white trainers.
Police
at Stoney Stanton Road are urging any witnesses or anyone with any
information about who the offender might be to contact them on 024
