Woman Grabs Blade
From Street Attacker
A
Coventry woman grabbed a knife from a man who was threatening her
and demanding money in a city street.
The
50-year-old was approached in Broomfield Place, Earlsdon, at
9.15pm yesterday by a man wielding a 10-inch carving knife.
He
demanded money, but she said they she didn’t have any.
The
woman was wearing thick sheepskin gloves and she grabbed the end
of the knife and tried to take it away from him.
The
man pulled back and ran off empty-handed.
He
is white, slim, 5ft 6ins, and has a thin face, which had stubble
on it. He is in his early 20s and was wearing a black jacket, a
hat, dark tracksuit bottoms with a white stripe down the side.
