Shop Assistant
Assaulted By City Thief
A
man attacked a Coventry shop assistant yesterday before snatching
money and phonecards out of a till.
He
went into One Stop in Station Avenue, Tile Hill at 9pm and went to
buy a packet of cigarettes.
As
he came to pay he suddenly pushed the 21-year-old assistant, who
fell backwards into some shelves.
He
then leant over and grabbed £50 and some phonecards before
fleeing.
The
offender got into a waiting black and yellow van, which then drove
off.
He
is in his late teens or early 20s, 6ft ,slim and has shaven dark
hair. He had a black and yellow hat on and had cuts and scratches
to the left side of his face.
