City Rider Has
Wheels Pulled From Beneath Him
A
Coventry teenager was punched as three men stole his motor scooter
as he rode down a city street.
The
robbery happened at 3.30pm on Saturday in Swinburne Avenue, Stoke.
The
victim, aged 16, was approached by three men while on his
motorised scooter.
He
was punched in the head, and had his scooter stolen before the
offenders made off in a white motor car.
Police
today issued descriptions of two of the offenders, both of whom
were aged between 16 and 20.
One
is mixed race and has shaved black hair. Another is white, 6ft
tall with shaved dark hair and an unshaven face.
They
stole a Go-Ped 33c motorised scooter, black and green in colour
worth £500.
The
victim suffered bruising to his ear and side of head following the
incident.
