City Woman's Legs Broken In Car Crash

A Coventry woman suffered three broken limbs and had to be cut free from the wreckage of her car by firefighters following a rush hour accident yesterday.

The crash happened on the A423 at Long Itchington at 5.15pm.

The car, a Peugeot 309, went out of control and overturned. No other vehicle is believed to have been involved.

Ambulance staff took the victim to Warwick Hospital. She was suffering from two broken legs and a suspected broken arm.
