Woman Attacked In
Coventry Park
A
Coventry woman suffered a cut lip after she was threatened with a
knife, set upon and robbed by three attackers in a city park.
The
attack happened on Thursday 8 February at 10pm in Primrose Hill
Park, Hillfields. The 20-year-old victim was accosted by three
men, one of whom threatened her with a six-inch Stanley knife.
One
of the attackers grabbed her shoulder bag, and the strap broke as
she tried to hold on to it.
There
was a struggle, during which the woman suffered a cut lip.
Eventually
the trio escaped with the bag, containing two mobile phones and £60
in cash.
All
three men are white, in their 20s and about 5ft 9in tall. The
first has short brown hair, a pock-marked face, is slim and wore a
dark tracksuit.
The other men had olive-coloured skin. One wore a black leather
jacket while the other has short dark hair and a chubby face.
